I want a new exhaust system on my Swift to make it more fuel efficient…?

Hi All,
I have a 2007 Suzuki Swift (base model) I’m pretty sure it’s a 1.6L.

Exhaust won’t help your fuel economy. That’s the short answer.

The long answer, is that let’s say you spend 500$ on an exhaust, and you increase your fuel economy by 5%, which is pretty good.

Sparing you all the math involved, you’d need to drive your vehicle for around 30,000 miles, before you have paid off the exhaust you bought.

In other words, 30,000 miles before you actually save any money.

Just keep that in mind.
