Is this a good bridge design? (picture included)?

I am entering in a Balsa wood competition and I was wondering if I could improve this design?

(just copy and paste it)

u have made a compound truss out of a simple truss by adding two diagonal struts.

for one thing, the end members of the simple truss shouldn’t lie on a length of the support. the end members should lie on pinned supports. (engineers and architects has special symbols to tell what they want the constructors to do.)

for another thing, when the compound truss is in action, the struts have made the compound truss to fall short of the support, which leads to failure.
